Lines drawn directly in 3D model space in Revit, visible in every view that shows that part of the model - unlike detail lines, which exist only in the single view they're drawn in. A model line drawn on a site plan to mark a property boundary shows up in a 3D view and a section too, since it's real model geometry - a detail line doing the same job would only ever appear in that one plan view.
