Who we are

Revit Monsters is the leading knowledge hub for Revit and BIM, operated from Israel. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what your rights are. Privacy questions can be sent through the contact page.

What we collect

Account details: full name, email address and password (stored encrypted by our authentication provider). When signing in with Google, Microsoft or Facebook we receive only your name and email address from the provider.

Learning data: lesson progress, quiz results, questions and answers you post on lessons, files and projects you submit to your portfolio, grades and certificates.

Security data: on each sign-in we record the IP address and browser/device type. This is used solely for account security and preventing account sharing contrary to the Terms of Service, and is visible to site administrators only.

Payments: when purchasing on the site in the future, card details are provided directly to the payment processor and are never stored by us. We keep a record of the purchase (product, amount, date).

Cookies: we use essential cookies only - to keep you signed in and remember your language preference. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

To run the service: progress tracking, reviewing submissions and giving feedback, issuing certificates, answering questions.

To communicate: transactional emails (signup confirmation, password reset) and, in the future, a newsletter you can unsubscribe from at any time.

For security: detecting unusual account activity and protecting course content.

We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.

Where data lives and who processes it

Data is stored with secure cloud infrastructure providers: Supabase (database, authentication and file storage), our hosting provider, our email delivery provider, and in the future a video hosting provider. These providers process data only on our behalf under data-processing agreements.

Retention and deletion

Data is kept while your account is active. You may at any time request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account and its data - via the contact page. Certain records (e.g. purchase history) may be retained after deletion where the law requires it.

Your rights

Under the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, you have the right to review information held about you, request its correction or deletion, and lodge a complaint with the Privacy Protection Authority. We aim to answer every request within 30 days.

Security

The site is served exclusively over encrypted connections (HTTPS), database access is restricted with row-level security policies, and passwords are never stored in plain text. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
