A report predicting a proposed development's noise impact and the mitigation needed to meet limits. A Noise Impact Assessment predicts the noise a proposed development will generate - or be exposed to, from nearby roads or industry - and specifies the mitigation needed to stay within acceptable limits. It's a common planning-application requirement, with construction-phase noise typically governed separately by BS 5228.
