The CDM 2015 dutyholder responsible for managing health and safety on site during the construction phase. The Principal Contractor is the statutory CDM Regulations counterpart to the Principal Designer, taking over responsibility for planning, managing, and monitoring health and safety once construction starts - running the Site Induction, coordinating multiple trades' Permit to Work systems, and maintaining the Construction Phase Plan.
