A saved group of specific model elements in Revit that can be reselected instantly by name, without a Group's shared-geometry behavior or a Filter's rule-based logic. A modeler manually picks an odd, one-off combination of elements - say, every window on a single irregular elevation - saves it as a named selection set, and can reselect that exact same combination weeks later in one click, which neither a rule-based View Filter nor a geometry-sharing Group is built for.
