A parameter defined inside a family, controlling its own geometry or behavior, that stays local to that family unless it's explicitly turned into a shared parameter. It's the family-editor-level counterpart to project and shared parameters - a door family's own "panel width" formula is a family parameter, and it stays invisible to schedules and tags outside that family until it's promoted to a shared one.
