Every new dwelling in England and Wales needs a SAP calculation before building control will sign it off, producing the figures behind its Energy Performance Certificate rating. Geometry, U-values, and system efficiencies feeding a SAP assessment increasingly come straight out of the Revit model rather than being re-entered by hand into separate energy software.
