A property controlling whether an element (a wall, a column, even a line) counts as a boundary when Revit calculates room and area geometry. A room that calculates the wrong area or refuses to fill with a color scheme almost always has a room-bounding mismatch nearby - a furniture family incorrectly set to room-bounding, or a partition wall incorrectly set to not room-bounding - making this one of the first properties to check when Room vs. Space calculations look wrong.
