The process of identifying, listing, and tracking defects or unfinished work ("snags") on a construction site, typically ahead of handover. A "snag list" (also called a punch list) is walked and photographed on site, then increasingly logged directly against BIM model elements using mobile apps or BCF issue files, so each defect is tied to the exact object, location, and responsible party rather than a loose spreadsheet row.
