A broader term than "3D model" - the combined geometric and non-geometric data describing an asset, of which AIM and PIM are the two lifecycle-stage-specific versions. "Information model" is the umbrella term ISO 19650 actually uses - a federated model is one way to build it, but the information model also includes documents, schedules, and data that never appear in the 3D view. During delivery it's called a PIM; once handed over, it becomes the AIM.
