What the client needs to know to make decisions during a specific project. The third member of the OIR/AIR/PIR family. PIR captures the information a client needs during the life of one specific project - not to operate the finished asset (that's the AIR) and not for the whole organization (that's the OIR), but to make good decisions about this particular job: budget tracking, risk management, design approvals.
In practice, the EIR that a project team receives is usually assembled from a mix of the relevant AIR and PIR content - the client's way of saying "here is everything I need from you, for this project and for running the building afterward".
