A single-discipline team - the structural engineers, the MEP consultants, the facade specialists - appointed to produce a specific portion of the project's information, working under the coordination of the Lead Appointed Party. Each Task Team is responsible for its own TIDP, and for delivering its discipline model to the agreed LOD at each milestone.

In everyday language this is simply "one of the consultant teams on the project" - ISO 19650's contribution is giving that relationship a precise name and a defined place in the overall information-delivery structure, rather than leaving it implicit.
