Uniclass (UK) and OmniClass (North America) are hierarchical classification systems that give every component, system and activity a standard code - from a single door to an entire project stage.

The codes live as parameters on elements and enable consistent quantities, specifications and information requirements across all parties. You will meet them mostly on international projects and in the EIRs of large clients.
