Where a traditional plan of work is a document, a Digital Plan of Work is structured data - it ties each project stage (see RIBA Plan of Work) to defined data drops, responsibilities, and classification, so software tools can track what's due, from whom, and when, rather than a project team tracking it manually in a spreadsheet.
