The information model built during design and construction. One half of ISO 19650's central pair. The PIM is the information model built up during design and construction: models, drawings, specifications, schedules, and documentation, all developed and approved through the CDE.

At handover, the relevant parts of the PIM are transferred to the owner and become the basis of the AIM.
