Defined in ISO 19650, the Information Manager is a procedural role - not a design or coordination one - that governs the Common Data Environment (CDE), ensures information is exchanged according to the agreed protocol, and confirms deliverables meet the project's Exchange Information Requirements before they move between CDE states. The role has no responsibility for clash detection or design decisions; it exists purely to keep information management disciplined and auditable.
