Manufacturing building components directly from BIM model data, using CNC machines, robotic arms, or 3D printers instead of manual fabrication from 2D drawings. It's what makes DfMA actually work in practice - the model has to be accurate enough (typically LOD 400) that a factory machine can cut, mill, or print directly from it with no human re-drawing step in between.
